Why lamb

Our lamb

We exclusively source top-grade British free-range lamb, and every cut is prepared on site.

Lamb is the roast for guests who want something different from pork, and for anyone who grew up on a braai. Take our advice and add roast potatoes: with lamb, they’re a must.

Space & accessSetting up, surfaces and carrying equipment
  • Our lamb roast machine is 78cm wide, 1.4m high and 1.4m long.
  • If there’s no side entrance, there are stairs or anything blocks access, we’ll add a staff member to help the chef carry the equipment. This can also apply depending on event size or menu.
  • If we need to set up at the rear of a garden or behind a marquee, an assistant is required. If you don’t tell us in advance and we arrive with one staff member, a £100 fee applies, paid to the staff member carrying the kit alone. Our insurance means guests can’t help carry.
  • We recommend setting up on grass. On any other surface you’ll need to provide a cover on arrival and take full responsibility for any damage.
  • We recommend setting up near a clear exit, so we can leave without disturbing your event.
  • No driveway? Please keep a space free in front of your property before we arrive, by parking your car or putting out your bins.
On the dayArrival, leftovers and allergies
  • Depending on the lamb package, we arrive and need access 5–7 hours before serving time. We can only roast outdoors.
  • We don’t take leftovers away. They’re placed in dishes you provide on the day.
  • Please tell us about any food allergies when you book. Our marinade sauce contains traces of gluten.
Booking & paymentDeposit, balance and travel
  • A £100 deposit, paid by online banking, secures your lamb roast. Ten days before, we confirm all arrangements and the balance is due.
  • £2 per mile applies to venues 20 miles or more from our KT9 or GU35 bases.
  • Our lamb roast machines are PAT tested and gas certified, and we hold £10 million public liability insurance.
  • Paying the deposit confirms the terms have been discussed with us and you agree to them.
